Last weekend, Sotogrande became a unique setting for lovers of classic vehicles. The Land Rovers rally brought together more than 50 of these emblematic models at the Finca La Almoraima, offering a spectacle like no other.
From the roar of their classic engines to the elegance of their timeless designs, Land Rovers took over the streets of Sotogrande, creating an atmosphere full of nostalgia and passion. The multicolored caravan that left the Port of Sotogrande on Saturday morning aroused the admiration of passers-by and fans, who did not hesitate to capture the moment with their cameras.
Beyond a simple parade, the Land Rover rally became a tribute to the history and tradition of these vehicles. Owners from different corners of Spain gathered to share their passion for these classics, exchange experiences and celebrate the automotive legacy they represent. The event consisted of several activities, including the parade through Sotogrande, orienteering tests, a picnic in the countryside, a route through the Alcornocales Natural Park and a climb to Castellar castle.
Not only were the vehicles admired, but the work of those who dedicated their time and effort to keeping them in top condition was also recognized. The organizers of the event, the Puertolandrovero club, wanted to reward the dedication of these owners, giving them distinctions for their contribution to the conservation of automotive heritage.
This second edition in Sotogrande has confirmed the success of this initiative, which has already established itself as a reference event for lovers of classic Land Rovers. Last year, the rally was held in El Puerto de Santa María with great success, bringing together more than 70 vehicles, including seven Series I, a milestone in the history of these meetings in Spain.
Behind this event is a commitment to culture, gastronomy and solidarity. The Puertolandrovero club seeks to take advantage of these concentrations to promote the development of the region and support social causes. On this occasion, the NGO Entreculturas was the beneficiary of the generosity of the participants.
